Mission

Immigrant Student Resources (ISR) helps recruit & retain students at the University of Arizona from immigrant & refugee backgrounds. This includes, but is not limited to students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), those with undocumented, asylee, TPS, and refugee status, as well as students from mixed-immigration status families.

Connect With Us

Our team is located in the Thrive Center. If you come in, call, or email, just share that you would like to be connected with the ISR team and the front desk will connect you. We have regular events, support in completing paperwork and navigating the university processes and procedures, connections to attorneys, peer mentors, community events, and much more! Feel free to let us know what you need.

We are open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. There is always someone from the Thrive team available to meet with you during these times. The ISR staff works 7:30am to 4:00pm if you want to connect directly with one of them, please email isrc@arizona.edu to schedule a meeting or drop in to chat with them in-person. You can also schedule an in-person or virtual appointment by calling us at 520.626.3789.
